Earthworks' update of Cortina project

Earthworks Industries Inc. (the “Company”) hereby updates the status of its integrated waste management project at the Cortina Rancheria in Colusa County, California.

On April 28, 2018, SCS Engineers submitted the remaining Site Specific Flexibility Request (SSFR) – a technical document required for the proposed development at Cortina. The SSFR was updated to consolidate and provide responses to all applicable comments earlier received from the U.S. EPA.

The SSFR documents have been forwarded to the Tribal regulatory agency, which approved the original SSFR’s and subsequently issued an Authority to Construct. While the earlier SSFR documents were timely submitted to the EPA for review, response comments were only recently provided by EPA over the past year.

The Company is advised that the Cortina Tribe is moving forward with a Request for Proposals for a consultant to assist the Tribal regulatory agency in its review of the updated SSFR’s.

Mr. David Atkinson commented: “We would like to thank SCS for their continued assistance at Cortina and are pleased to see there were only minimal changes from the original documents”.
